Service Description

Turn Off Water Supply: Shut off the main water supply to the irrigation system. This can usually be done at the main water valve or the irrigation system's backflow preventer. Drain Water: Make sure to drain all water from the irrigation lines to prevent freezing. This can be done by opening drain valves, manual drain points, and using compressed air to blow out any remaining water. Use Compressed Air: Use compressed air to blow out any remaining water from the pipes, valves, and sprinklers. Begin with the zone farthest from the air compressor and work your way back. Open Drain Valves and Test Cocks: Open any drain valves or test cocks on the backflow preventer, valves, and other low points in the system to allow water to escape. Ensure they remain open throughout the winter. Disconnect Hoses and Equipment: Detach garden hoses, drip irrigation lines, and any other equipment from the system. Store these items indoors to prevent damage.
